Ashcombe Volleyball Tournament 2008

“THE CHAMPAGNE TOURNAMENT”

SUNDAY 22nd June 2008

Ashcombe Volleyball Tournament annually attracts over 100 teams of all levels and is played on outdoor grass courts at The Big Field, Brockham, near Dorking Surrey.

Matches begin at 10.a.m. and play finishes at about 5.30.p.m.

ENTRY FEE

£30.00 for EVA registered clubs

Add another £5.00 for non-registered clubs

All finalists win medals. ALL Winning teamswin a BOTTLE OF CHAMPAGNE

DIVISIONS

Teams of 6 - Men, Women, & Mixed

Mixed teams must have 3 women on court at all times

Div 1 – Teams including N.V.L. standard players

Div 2 – Regional and Div 1 County standard players

Div 3 – Lower County and Local League standard players

Div 4 – Social and Novice standard players

SATURDAY NIGHT 21st June

Ashcombe Club Awards and Celebration Dinner £10.00 includes camping fee and Disco

OR Camping ON-SITE £5.00 per person includes entry to Bar and Disco

CLOSING DATE 12 TH June. Early entry is advised

Wherever possible there will be 8 or 10 teams in each division.

2 pools of 4 or 5 to ensure every team has at least 4 matches. All matches are timed.

FACILITIES

Licensed Bar. Hot and cold food and drinks, Bar-B-Q, changing rooms and showers.

SPORTSET – Volleyball Suppliers. TOURNAMENT T-SHIRTS and RAFFLE

We are a registered tournament with Volleyball England and all teams should be EVA registered. There is a fee of £5.00 per team for non-registered teams to pay for the extra insurance.
