3-0 victory over Sussex Dolphins 2 in Womens Sussex League Division 1 takes the Ashcombe side into 3rd place with 3 matches left in their season. Sian Warren captained the side and was also named MVP and she led a spirited performance by the side against a Dolphins side strengthened by some Dolphins 1 players. Hanh Le set high and wide allowing Robyn Wisdom and Isi Liebschen to attack using the full width of the court and the middle of the court was dominated by the strong blocking of Megan Warren and Rosanna O'Mahony. Freda Bussey made her debut after a year out with a shoulder injury and survived. Ashcombe play Worthing 2 on Sunday 20th March 6.00.p.m. at Worthing High School.
